This is the second book in a
series of Bible centered curriculum designed in a unit study form. The
15-week course begins at Genesis 12, where our last study left off, and
continues through to Genesis 36. These Bible passages are about the
patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The study of early ancient Egypt is
also included in this book.
The Bible and whole books
are at the center of this literature-based study. With the exception of
math, this book has been designed for use as your entire curriculum. The
subjects covered include Bible, arts & crafts, grammar (copy-work,
dictation, narration, reading, spelling vocabulary and writing), art &
music appreciation, note-booking, and science. Although comprehensive, the
design allows enough flexibility for you to use this alongside of your own
curriculum for Bible lessons or history.
I have separated this book
into two parts for easier use. Included in the first part are a reading
list, book information pages, and a section explaining how to incorporate
seamlessly the various areas of study in this curriculum. The second part
begins with an overview of ancient civilization, followed by the three
units of study. Each unit opens with a master lesson planner, giving
you an excellent perspective of this organized study.
