Keith Hoffman – Once consumed with career and detached as a husband and
parent, the Lord turned Keith’s heart to become a father dedicated to living out
and promoting Biblical patterns for families. Keith and his wife Elizabeth
(Libby) founded Turning Hearts Family Resources out of their passion to restore
the family as the primary building block for Christian growth.
The following topics may be combined or tailored to accommodate needs ranging
from one-hour keynote sessions to weeklong retreats. If you are planning a
convention, retreat, or special event, we will do our best to accommodate your
needs. Please contact us to discuss your plans.
Spiritual Leadership in the Home (Dads)
A growing number of men desire to become involved in the spiritual leadership
of their families, but it is often a difficult and lonely journey. Keith shares
his pilgrimage to becoming a spiritual leader and identifies biblical leadership
roles and duties as a father and husband. Discover and apply these patterns for
leading and loving your household.
A Prophet to your Home (Dads)
As Christian fathers, we strive to create a Christ-centered environment
within our homes. We teach the Word, set standards, and train in habits of
prayer and Bible study. Although the pious practice of these foundational
routines is good and noble, it is all too easy to mistake religious activity as
the evidence and goal of spiritual maturity. It is possible to fill our
children’s heads to overflowing with knowledge about the Bible without it ever
trickling down to their hearts. A husband, as prophet to his household, must
move his family beyond religious habit and into a vital relationship with the
Father.
The Great Assignment: Preparing your Child for Marriage (Teens and Parents)
The single most important decision your child will make, beyond accepting and
serving Christ, is deciding into whose eyes they will gaze as they say, "I do."
This decision carries incredible consequence, not only for your son or daughter,
but also for their children and future generations. In light of the weight of
this choice, how do we train and prepare our children for this momentous
decision? In this session, we explore how to prepare our children to navigate
the transition from singleness to marriage in a God-honoring way.
Discover your "Bent" (Teens and Parents)
In this session, you will be reminded of how big and wonderful God really is,
how special you are because you are His, and be encouraged to pursue dreams that
are impossible on your own strength, but not with God. Parents and teens will
find the insights very helpful as you seek to determine what God has prepared
you to do.
Faith and your Future (Teens and Parents)
The future is more uncertain than perhaps at any other time in history. With
the future unknown, how do you decide which path to follow? How do you discern
the plans God has for you? We face these questions not only as teens, but
increasingly so as adults. In this session, you will discover biblical
principles for identifying and pursuing aspirations from God.
