Curriculum
Our Philosophy
A literature-based
approach is at the center of this study. The unit study encompasses
subjects including: Bible, history, memory work, reading (aloud and on
their own), vocabulary, spelling, narration, dictation, copywork,
projects, arts, crafts, creative writing, and science. These subjects
intertwine throughout the entire curriculum, with a Bible-based study
of history as the central thread. This intergenerational study is
intended to be flexible to fit all learning styles.
Our unit study is
designed to teach all subjects except math. However, some families
decide to use our curriculum solely for the outstanding treatment of
history from a biblical perspective.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum
starts at the beginning of time—the Biblical account of Creation, and
traces the timeline of history through the Bible. The series, when
completed, will encompass world history up to modern times. We release
new volumes as Libby completes them—the next book, through ancient
Greece, is due this spring.
For ease of use,
each unit of study features a master planner with complete with Bible
references, memory verses, reading assignments, vocabulary work, student
question sheets, teacher answer pages, along with fun and educational
project ideas. This planned approach is the ideal solution for the busy
mom that likes to teach, but does not have time for research.

that like more flexibility, you are free to choose from a variety of
books that we have reviewed and recommend for this study, and modify our
suggested plan to fit your specific needs.
A specially
designed coloring book is available to accompany each book in the series
for your younger students. Each coloring page is designed to correlate
with a lesson, so the entire family can participate while you teach.
